After a wonderful dinner at Plaza Azteca with friends and family, we took advantage of the unseasonably warm weather and went to view the spectacular Dominion GardenFest of Lights at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. Only one word can describe this beautiful place: magical!

During our trip, we saw the wide-eyes of children (and many adults) as they took in the train exhibits, were in awe of the origami display, and had our breath taken away as we walked among over half a million sparkling lights! To make it even more special, we purchased S’mores kits and were able to roast our marshmallows over an open fire! Does it get any more Norman Rockwell than that?
