I was never a Lego girl – I was a Barbie girl. However, my younger brother loved them and, as it turns out, my husband shared the same enthusiasm for Lego’s when he was a kid. This year, we decided to give our kids Lego sets for Christmas. And, many family members had the same idea…we have about 8 sets to put together! I was surprised by my daughters interest in them, but not shocked by her ability to grasp the concept and put them together in a heartbeat. And, I have been enjoying watching my son labor over his Star War Lego sets and seeing his fine motor skills sharpen. Having discovered their love for all things Lego, and something to keep them occupied during winter break, I am thrilled to find out that LEGO KidsFest will be coming to Richmond, Virginia!
Lego KidsFest will be held at the Greater Richmond Convention Center on Friday, February 15th from 4pm-8:30pm, Saturday, February 16th from 9am-1:30pm and 3pm-7:30pm, and Sunday, February 17th from 9am-1:30pm and 3pm-7:30pm.
